Our photography and videography business has served the Northern Berkshire area since January 2025. Founded by Asher Rabquer, AR Visual Media began with sports and event photography in Bennington, Vermont. It provided portraiture and exciting graphic edits for soccer, basketball, and volleyball teams. Eventually the business found direction in business marketing images, looking to bring life and local business owners to the Berkshires. Asher Rabquer - Owner and Photographer
This photography journey began when I was just a kid. One of my greatest influences was my grandfather, who had served in the military, taught in the public school system, and also pastored a small church in Ohio. I always admired my grandfather's ability to take on random hobbies and learn everything he could. I watched him do everything from woodworking, to airbrush painting, and even golf. Two of his passions that always stood out to me were photography and aviation. He used to own a Piper Cub airplane and fly around with my grandmother. Oddly enough, my life has followed my grandfather's footsteps in many ways. Though I have not served in the military, I have worked in the public and private school system as an English teacher, and also served as a Youth Director for a church in New York. As I have walked down this path, I have also developed a love for photography and aviation. I invested in my first "real" camera in 2024 and have been shooting ever since. I also studied like crazy and passed my Part 107 Drone Certification exam so I could fly as well (without spending as much money on an airplane of course).
It has been a great joy to chase down this dream. I look forward to putting that passion and energy into the visuals we create together!
